Arrive Sustainably

Vienna offers a variety of environmentally friendly options for reaching our venues, Apothekertrakt and Orangerie. Here are the best options:

Public Transport

The U4 metro line (station Schönbrunn) is just a few minutes' walk away and connects directly to the city center. Use the 'Grünbergstraße' exit.

Tram lines 10 and 60, as well as bus 10A, stop at the Schloss Schönbrunn station, near the main entrance of the site.

On Weekends:
The U4 runs every 5-8 minutes. Trams (10, 60) and buses (10A) also operate, though less frequently.

At Night:
The night bus N60 stops at Schönbrunn station on weekdays, connecting the site with the city center. This bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. On weekends, the metro (U4) runs every 15 minutes.

A route planner can be found online at the following link: Wiener Linien

Bicycle

Schönbrunn is easily accessible via the Vienna cycling network. Bicycle racks are located at the main entrance and near the metro station (Grünbergstraße exit). The WienMobil bike rental system offers bikes 24/7, with stations directly at the Schönbrunn metro station (Grünbergstraße exit) and opposite the main entrance.

Whenever possible, walking is likely the most eco-friendly way to reach the venues, Apothekertrakt & Orangerie.

By car

Due to the parking situation around Schönbrunn, we recommend to use public transport.

Car parking is available on Schönbrunner Schloßstraße, on the opposite site of the Orangerie and the Apothekertrakt respectively, in the APOCA parking lot.

Accessibility

All areas are accessible barrier-free.
